Dupe alert!

If you ask me what makeup product I could not live without I would definetly respond: "concealer". Is just one of those things that I apply by itself and I look super refreshed and awake. I have really bad dark circles and also tons of fine lines under my eyes what makes me super picky about the concealer I wear. Another challenge that I happen to have with concealear is that as you already know if you have read my other blog posts is that my skin is dehidrated and oily.

For many years I've managed to try so many concealears and formulas to try and find my perfect match. My favorite concealer ever is the MAC Prolongwer Concealer. I used shades NC30 (when pale) and NC35 (during summer). Not lying I've gone through 9 bottles of it. Nevertheless, the only thing I don't really love is the packaging. Is a crystal bottle with a pump that for some reason does not get all product out. When the pump stops working you still have like at least 15% of the product left. It's pretty annoying since you pay around $18 for it.

Therefore, I've kept my eyes open for the next thing around and I think I've found a really good dupe for the MAC Prolongwear.

A month ago taking advantage of the amazing deals at the drugstore I bought the NYX HD Concealer as a recommendation of a fellow makeup artist. I am in love! Have been wearing it for the last month or so every day for work and it works great. My shade is #6.

The consistency is a little bit dry which is pretty convenient for my oily skin. Also find that doesn't crease against my fine lines and it sets beautifully with the tiniest bit of powder. Packaging on this concealer is perfect as it is a doe foot applicator that deposits the product beautifully. The price is one of the best things about it. Wilth all the good deals at the drugstore I paid $3.24 for it. I think that the price fluctuates around $6.99. Coverage I would say is pretty great. I do find that the MAC Prolongwear Concealer is a bit more full coverage. But so far this NYX HD has been on my top shelf products.
